Ravensburg is a town and county seat and largest city of the district of the same name in southern Upper Swabia in Germany. Ravensburg is located in Schussental near Lake Constance, was designated because of their numerous well-preserved medieval towers formerly referred to as "the Swabian Nuremberg". Ravensburg is located about 17 km north-northeast of the nearby Lake Constance Friedrichshafen, between the Linzgau to the west and Altdorfer forest in the northeast.
