Rauris is a municipality in the province of Salzburg in the district Zell am See in Austria. Rauris is located in the Pinzgau in Salzburg at the Rauriser Ache below the Sonnblick group in the heart of the Hohe Tauern National Park and spans the Raurisertal. Rauris is the largest municipality in Salzburg. Until the end of 2002 Rauris belonged to the judicial district Taxenbach, since 2003 it is part of the judicial district Zell am See.
