Chandolin is a municipality in the Val d'Anniviers, District Sierre in the canton of Valais in Switzerland. Chandolin is between 755 M to 2700 meters above the sea below the Illhorns on the steep western slope of the Val d'Anniviers in the French speaking part of Switzerland. From Chandolin there is a view of the Valais Alps from Zinalrothorn, Besso, Obergabelhorn, Zinalspitze to Dent Blanche. Chandolin is situated on 1'936 meters above sea level, making it one of the highest in Europe and parishes was before the merger was the second highest town in Switzerland.
