This compared to the famous ski resorts relatively small ski resort of Vals begins very far end of the village and goes up to Dachsberg. The roof is almost 3000m high mountain, which is one of the higher Vals ski resorts of the canton of Grisons and is thus regarded as snow-sure.
An 8-person gondola from the valley of Vals to 1800m above sea level opens up the ski resort, above Lifts lead up to the roof mountain. Vals has next to the gondola lifts three, to get a children's lift.
